Farmingdale, N.Y. Helen C. Olian of Albuquerque, New Mexico, has recently been recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals as Professional of the Year for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of children's publishing.

About Helen C. Olian

Helen C. Olian was born in Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her ambition to become a writer began at the age of 8 years. She received her degree in History from the University of Pittsburgh and has become an established author of children's books. Ms. Olian has a total of 10 publications including "The Doggie Farm," "The Aliens" and "The Doggie Trip." The 96 page book "The Aliens" is an illustrated collection of cartoons about aliens from outer space and unidentified flying objects published in 1992. According to Amazon.com it has become one of the Top 100 Books Bestsellers.
