Gerald E. Harvey, Jr., CPA is managing partner and CEO of Harvey & Caldwell, PA. He has more than 40 years experience in accounting in the Kansas City area. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in accounting at the University of Kansas at Lawrence. Mr. Harvey has taught accounting and tax courses at the college level and has co-hosted a radio show on taxation and finances. He has served as President of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Metropolitan Chapter. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of CPA's Board of Trustees. Mr. Harvey has several awards to his credit including: Named one of the "Top tax Practitioners" in the nation by Money Magazine; Named an ELP ("Endorsed Local Provider") by the Dave Ramsey Show and named as one of the Five Star Wealth Managers "Best in Client Satisfaction" for 5 years in a row, 2007-11. His credentials as a professional accountant also include Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (ASSM). His leisure time is spent jogging and participating in family activities.
