Farmingdale, N.Y. - Dr. Albert Cohen of Delray Beach, Florida, has recently been recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals as the Male Executive of the Year 2013 for his contributions and achievements in the field of healthcare.
About Dr. Albert Cohen
Dr. Albert Cohen is the Medical Director of Anatomic and Clinical Laboratories Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center. He was born in Havana, Cuba and earned his M.D. at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. He has fellowships from Mt. Sinai Hospital and Yale University. He also has a GI Pathologist Fellowship in Florida and was the 5th year Chief Resident at Mt. Sinai Hospital. In addition, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Cohen has been nominated "Best Doctor in America" by his colleagues in 2005, 2007-2008. In 2001, Dr. Cohen was named Ambassador of Peace for the Unity School which had been chosen as the regional headquarters for Peaceful Schools International. Other awards include Outstanding Instructor in Pathology, Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, 1982 and American Medical Association Physician Recognition Continuing Medical Education Award. Dr. Cohen is also interested in meteorology and hurricane activity.
