Cynthia E. Gitt, recently recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals

Farmingdale, N.Y. Cynthia E. Gitt of Pasadena, California has recently been recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals as Professional of the Year for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Labor and Employment Law.

Cynthia E. Gitt was born in York, Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. from Wheaton College and in 1971, received her J.D. with honors from George Washington University Law School. There she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She was a trial attorney for the EEOC in Washington D.C. from 1971-1974 and in San Francisco from 1974-1975. Ms. Gitt began her private practice career as an Associate at Morgan Lewis & Bockius from 1978-1984 and later a partner with Ford & Harrison from 1984-1991. She was also a shareholder and Of Counsel to Epstein Becker & Green from 1991-2006. She co-founded Brown Gritt Law Group LLP in June of 2006. Ms. Gitt was named a Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine for 2004-2010 and was featured in the 2nd Annual "Women Leaders of the Law" supplement to the Los Angeles Times. She is affiliated with the American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association, a Board Member with the Marianne Frostig Center for Children with Learning Disabilities. Her impressive career in trial experience, numerous plaintiff and class actions cases has shown top quality results having lost only two cases.
